As part of it’s 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas, The House of Mouse announced something that has been speculated in Disney circles for a few weeks. Flights of Wonder at Animal Kingdom will be getting a refurb. Now it’s confirmed that this re-themed attraction will feature Pixar’s UP! characters Russell and Dug. UP! Outside of a Meet n Greet at Discovery Island ( a place where foot traffic is dwindling) you can’t find UP! represented in the Parks much so UP! fans rejoice.

Here’s the skinny from Disney: Embark on a wild adventure with this dynamic duo as they discover species of birds from around the world in an all-new show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom—coming Spring 2018 to the Caravan Theater in the Park’s Anandapur Village. Beginning just in time to ring in the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom next year, this is your chance to tag along with Russell and Dug and find out for yourself if adventure really is out there!
