In what comes as a surprise to absolutely no one, the California Grill has bested Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe to win the inaugural Starch Madness title here at Not Club 33. The fact that Pecos Bill made it this far was a feat in and of itself and while I personally didn’t expect it, I can say that I do basically eat there at least every other time I’m in the Magic Kingdom so kudos to the gang at Pecos.

As for the California Grill, …..welp, it’s as expected that this gem, which has a 4 and 1/2 star Zagat rating, would win a battle for restaurant glory on the Walt Disney World campus.

Big thanks to all of you who participated in the voting and a shout out to my fellow member of our ‘super secret panel of experts’ Becky Wells, Bobby Burchins and Pat Neistat who helped to seed this field of 64.
